As we wrapped up April a few things started to make headlines – the measles outbreak. I put out a few Instagram posts and stories on this topic. There’s a lot of controversy surrounding this topic. I encourage you to do your research before choosing a stance. Don’t just go along with what others are saying.

Take a peak at some of the posts that I put out this week.

Many of you have already seen the news of the vaccine mandate in NY due to the “outbreak” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here’s my point of view: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ Measles is very real and can be life threatening for a subset of the population. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ Even if you receive the vaccine, you’re still not guaranteed immunity and there may be side effects associated with the vaccine’s “other” ingredients. The vaccine contains a 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒅 form of the virus that may actually cause 𝒂𝒕𝒚𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒔. Other side effects are 𝒔𝒆𝒊𝒛𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ Mandating a vaccine is a slippery slope. It takes away you’re medical right to choose or reject a medical procedure. If you look at the CDC website you’ll see an entire list of people 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒏’𝒕 receive the vaccine. I understand the concern, but there are so many other factors that are overlooked. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4️⃣ I’m all for the idea of vaccination in effort to induce immunization. But not at the expense of other things. Plus there are other methods to stimulate an immune response (homeopathy and other bioresonant therapies) without all the possible adverse side effects. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Remember that not everyone will respond the same way. Maybe the body won’t display an anaphylactic response. Maybe the expression of disease happens years down the line. Again, it comes down to biochemical individuality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ People have asked me “are you anti-vax?” My answer always is “no, I’m pro-health”….if a vaccine can be produced that doesn’t cause a detrimental effect on a person’s health, I’m all in! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ At the end of the day, there is no concrete answer to this dilemma. Do your research, check your sources, and use your gut instincts when working with a healthcare professional.
